Frederick Skate Park
About 30,000 square feet of poured concrete at the south-west corner of the Frederick Recreation Area: an 18,500-square-foot street course, an egg bowl, a 10,000-square-foot flow bowl and two 12-foot full pipes, unsupervised and lit, open dawn to 10 pm.

The Town’s skate park is a wheel-sports complex of custom poured-in-place terrain: a street course with ledges, rails, hubbas, curbs, manual pads, grindable disks and a slant wallride; an egg bowl six feet deep at one end and four at the other; a flow bowl of varying heights; two repurposed 12-foot metal full pipes; and a centre feature painted as an ice cream cone, with artwork funded by the Frederick Arts Committee. It is open from dawn to 10 pm, unsupervised, and the Town is adjusting the lighting to spare the neighbours while keeping after-dark use.
The rules on the Town’s page: no metal pegs on bikes (plastic is fine), no modifying the park or adding ramps, no amplified music, motorised equipment, alcohol, smoking or vaping; pets leashed and off the skating surface; organised events only with Town permission. Helmets and pads are recommended, and the park closes when repairs are needed.
